The Window

You approach a window beside the door, the only one that isn’t fully shuttered. In the slight breeze, one of the unlatched slats thumps against the side of the house. 

You peer in, cupping a hand over your eyes to try and see through the darkness beyond the glass. Unfortunately, you can’t see much beyond the glare of sunlight.

Except…

Yes! It seems as though a shadow passed through. Who was that?
